Sonowal, AXX condole death of Umesh Sarma

GUWAHATI, August 27: Assam Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal has condoled the death of former executive member, former working president of the Axom tya Sanmilan, educationist, actor and dramatist Umesh Sarma. Sarma breathed his last at a hospital in Kolkata last night. He was 62. Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) has also condoled the death of its Sarma. In a condolence message, AXX president Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bora, in-charge vice president Dr Parag Kumar Thakur and secretary general Dr. Paramanda Rajbongshi said the death of the Sarma is a great loss in the field of drama and social life in Assam.
