State-level symposium on flood today

GUWAHATI, Jan 23: An NGO, Ekota Parishad, is going to hold a state-level symposium on the problem of floods and its preventive measures on January 24 in the city in cooperation with Mukti and Sadha Ashram. Mukti director Hemoprobha Devi said in a statement: “It is necessary for us to discuss the problem of floods that take many lives and damage property every year to find a permanent solution.”
