Student drowns in stream of Kulsi

GUWAHATI, July 30: A class I student of a Hatigaon-based school in Guwahati, Ishan Ali, drowned in a stream of the Kulsi river when he was washing muck from his dress along with his colleagues at Rani Khamar under Palasbari police station on Sunday. Students of two city schools went for picnic in a bus. However, the bus got stuck on the mucky road at Rani Khamar needing the students to get down and push the vehicle. However, in doing that the students had their dresses dirty with muck. The incident occurred when they went to clean their dresses.
