If this plant is introduced to the world as Bhupendra Briksha, along with the green environment in the world the environment of Assam will be also highlighted. On behalf of the people of Assam, some NGOs med the indigenous white sandalwood tree after Dr. Hazarika when he was alive. That was the last social programme of the maestro. Now that sapling has grown into a tree in the complex.”

Today’s programme was attended, among others, by Dipanko Hazarika, Alaka Pandey Baruah, Bokul Gogoi, Sewali Kalita, Hemen Deka and others. The programme was organized by two NGOs – Briksha and Bani.
