GUWAHATI, March 21: The Madhavdev Intertiol Auditorium at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati saw the staging of Hindi play ‘Panchratram’ by Roopvani Theatre Group on Wednesday which rrates the story of brotherhood and peace, a stark contrast to Mahabharata’s story of catastrophe which ends in bloodshed. Directed by Vyomkesh Shukla, the playwright is based on an episode taking place among the Pandavas, Kauravas and their Guru, Drocharya. Roopvani is a group of young and motivated actors, singers, writers, artistes and lovers of art, and is based in Baras. It has made a distinguishing mark for itself in Indian theatre.
