Three arrested by City Police

GUWAHATI, Sept 28: The City Police arrested three miscreants -- Md Farjul Ali, son of Mahim Ali under Morowa police station in Mukalmua; Nripen rayan Dev (31), son of Khagen N Dev under Malibari police station in Baihatachariali; Dipak Haloi, son of Habid Haloi under Patala Barkuchi police station in lbari -- last night in connection with the looting of Gati Carrier Agency located at Gorchuk in the city on September 19. The police acted to the Garchuk PS case (454/15 u/s 395/397 IPC). Search is continuing to apprehend other absconding accused. Interrogation of the arrested persons is on.
