GUWAHATI, May 3: With former AXX president Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bora and secretary general Paramanda Rajbongshi making their decision to stage a comeback to the AXX at its recent meeting, three AXX advisers – GU vice chancellor Mridul Hazarika, KK Handique Open State University VC Dr, Hitesh Deka and Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies  University VC Deepak Sarma – today handed over their relieving letters to AXX’s in-charge secretary Prahlad Tasha.

The trio was appointed as AXX advisers when former Dr Dhrubajyoti Bora and Paramanda Rajbongshi had to be relieved from the AXX on the controversial issue of extension of their term in the run-up to AXX session at Sivasagar.

Meanwhile, addressing the press in the city today, Dr Bora said: “The new president of the AXX will be elected by July this year and the electoral college of the AXX will be ready within a month.”

Dr. Bora said that he had to come back to the Xabha for its greater interest. “A section of former AXX leaders have been involved in bringing bad me to the Xabha,” he said.
