Truck runs over man

GUWAHATI/AZARA, May 1: Shankar Yadav (50) died on the spot when a cylinder-laden truck (AS25BC0224) bound for Guwahati from Mirza ran over him when he was trying to cross NH-37 with his Scooty (AS01BF7832) at Dharapur Chariali last night. The truck driver fled the scene. Yadav was in a rented house at Dharapur. Prior to that the truck left another person injured at Rani Gate..
