Two die in accident - 9 Oct, 2017

AZARA, Oct 8: Two passengers of a Wagon R (01HC2621) died on the spot when the car they were travelling on from Guwahati-Goalpara collided head on with a Guwahati-bound passenger-carrying ultra bus (AS18C7836) on NH-37 at Bongora under Azara PS on Sunday.

Driver Bitul Bora and Dhiren Chandra Bodo died on the spot due to the impact of the collision. Another passenger of the WagonR, Sangeeta Boro (25), also sustained serious injuries in the accident. The impact of the collision was so heard that the front part of the WagonR turned into a mingled mass of steel. Some passengers of the bus also sustained injuries. The local people gathered soon and engaged themselves in rescue operation.

The police sent the injured to Mirza PHC for treatment.
