Two killed in accident - 9 Mar, 2018

DIMORIA, March 8: Two persons – Aminul Islam and smin Begum – died on the spot when the Scooty they were travelling in was hit from behind by a Guwahati-bound a coal-laden truck (AS01JC2181) from Jagiroad on NH-37 at Komarkuchi under Sopur police station on Wednesday night. The truck pushed the Scooty for around two km. The Scooty caught fire, so did the truck. Firefighters had to come and douse the fire. The incident led to traffic congestion. While Aminul hailed from Chandmari in the city, smin was from Jalukbari, the police said.
