According to reports, a bench of five judges, headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra on 13th March 2018 in a judgement said that government cannot insist for mandatory Aadhaar till the matter is under judicial consideration.
Supreme Court of India extended the mandatory linking of Aadhaar with bank accounts and mobile phones and passports till judgment is pronounced, as reported.
