He said, "The sound was so loud that parts of the house were shaking too. And after I searched, I saw that the tin roof of the house had broken." "When I lifted it, the stone was still warm," he added.

He was working outside his house when the incident happened.

The meteorite was very rare variety which is approximately 4.5 billion year old. It is carbonaceous chondrite and was reported worth Rs 63,000 per gram estimate.

He also shared some pictures of the meteorite on facebook.

Mr. Josua sold the rock to Mr. Jared Collins of USA who is a specialist collector and Mr. Jared re-sold it to his fellow parter Jay Piatek who has preserved it at the Centre for Meteorite Studies at Arizona State University.

Mr. Josua has not revealed the accurate amount but made clear that the amount was over one million pounds which was approximately equal to thirty years of his salary.
