San Francisco: One of the most popular instant messaging platforms in the world — WhatsApp — is working on a much anticipated “picture-in-picture mode” for Android platform. The feature once rolled out, will allow users to continue the video call on a minimized screen while browsing through the rest of their conversation. According to WABetaInfo, a fan site that tests new WhatsApp features early, the messaging app has recently submitted a new update through the “Google Play Beta Program”, bringing the version up to 2.18.234.
