YouTube prankster faces imprisonment after offering toothpaste-filled Oreo to homeless in Barcelona

A humiliating and immoral incident of a YouTube prankster tricking a poor homeless man has fueled a straightaway rage and anger all throughout the social media with people from across the world condemning the man for such degrading thoughts. As shown in the prank video shot in Barcelona, the prankster offers an Oreo cookie to a homeless man which was actually filled with toothpaste in place of chocolate or cream filling.

The prankster identified as Kanghua Ren, who is known as ReSet to his followers on YouTube, later, is punished with a 15-month prison sentence and compensation of about Rs. 15,42,602 to his victim.

The YouTube prankster, by offering the toothpaste-filled Oreo cookie to the homeless man, has actually violated the moral integrity of the homeless man. Such behaviour with anybody, particularly with a person who is already being hit hard by destiny, is against humanity. Apart from the imprisonment and the compensation orders, Ren is also going to lose his popularity and source of income through social media as the Barcelona court has ordered a shutdown of Mr. Ren’s YouTube and other social media channels for five years.

Although this incident has come into the light now, but this is not so recent as Mr. Ren at that time was 19-year-old and this was filmed in early 2017. he had replaced the cream inside the cookies with toothpaste and had done so after being challenged by one of his 1.2 million followers for the prank. the Oreo cookies were offered to a homeless man outside a supermarket. as seen in the video, the homeless man was identified as Gheorge L., who was in his early 50s then and was born in Romania. Before migrating to Barcelona, he used to work as a shepherd. The worst part of the video which is worth condemning is that the homeless man vomited after eating the cookie.
