The following vacancy shall be filled purely on temporary basis through WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for the DBT Project entitled “Comprehensive approach on NTM Species Identification, drug susceptibility testing methods, and strengthening NE State laboratories” under Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology (NE 2018) Govt. of India, in the Department of Microbiology, Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati-32 (Assam).

Post Name: Lab Technician

Qualification: B.Sc MLT with two years of experience in Microbiology division of Clinical Laboratory. Must be able to work with automated systems such as Bactec, Vitek, Real time PCR etc

Desirable: Experience of working in Molecular Biology Laboratory and Knowledge of computers (PGDCA)

Post Name: Lab Attendant

Qualification:12th Passed in Science Stream from a recognized Institute. Experience of working in Hospital Laboratory (2 Years)and Knowledge of computers (PGDCA)
