The candidates must done SSC/ 10th standard with science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI certificate in plumbing or national/ state trade certificate or 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice training from a recognised institution in the relevant trade i.e. Plumbing

Selection Procedure for Technician Post 

The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere fulfilment of educational qualifications and experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for trade/skill test/written test, as applicable. A duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates and only those candidates who, in the opinion of the Institute, suit the Institutional requirement, will be called for Trade/skill test/written test. The candidate should, therefore, mention in the application all the qualifications, division, full marks, marks secured, %age marks without extraoptional beginning from 10th / SSC onwards and experience, in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualifications, supported with documents.
