The Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary (AHVETY) Mizoram is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 62 vacant posts of Volunteers to work in various capacities against listed job titles are required to be engaged urgently for a period of three months in a fight to Control, Contain and Eradicate African Swine Fever (ASF) in the State of Mizoram. Job Profile |
Formulation of Random Sampling Plan for Sero Surveillance and monitoring. Sample collection, testing and interpretation of test result. |
Epidemiological study on ASF outbreak, Surveillance and Investigation work. Formulation of Biosecurity Plan, cleaning and Disinfection of infected premises and report writing. |
Stock and inventory checks, documentary procedures. Supporting Nodal Officer, Communicating changes in strategies of operation. |
Book keeping, Communication with customers or stakeholder, Answering phone calls, record and document filing, operating office machines, keeping records and reports, delivering messages. |
Entry data relating to ASF outbreak in a clear and efficient manner. Organising data in a clear and effective way. |
Receiving and analyzing samples. Designing and executing laboratory testing according to existing standard procedure. Recording of data and results in specified form with accuracy |
Disinfection and Cleaning of infected premises, Carcass disposal, Sample collection & transport, disease outbreak reporting. Support Veterinary Doctors in Sero-Surveillance & Sero-monitoring; Clinical and Physical Surveillance |
