Candidates should not be more than 38 years as on 01.01.2020 with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates, and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates. |
To be suitable for the advertised post of Assistant Professor in SS college, Hailakandi , candidate should have minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade point scale) at the Master's Degree level in the relevant subject. A relaxation of 5% marks shall be provided to the categories belonging to SC/ST/PWD. He/ She will have to acquire their qualifications as on the last date for submitting the applications. Eligibility like M.Phil/Ph.D/Seminar Papers/ Publications can be submitted on the date of interview and not beyond. It is to be noted that the NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/ SLET/SET is not conducted.
Applicants who are willing for the vacant post are advised to submit their applications in the format prescribed by the DHE Assam. Along with the application form, candidates should enclose detailed Bio-data and all the requisite documents from HSLC onwards. He/She should possess Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and should know local language. Candidates who are in service must apply through proper channel with recent NOC obtained from the concerned authority. The following documents including a non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs.2000/- only drawn in favour of Principal, S.S. College, Hailakandi, Payable at SBI, Hailakandi Branch (IFSC: SBIN0000087) must reach the office of the undersigned latest by 11 January.
