It is necessary for us to train ourselves to feel a certain way and to incorporate that way of being into who we are in order to bring about a change in those behaviours. You can improve your mental health and replace negative thoughts with positive ones if you participate in a variety of activities that are collectively referred to as "conscious feeling practises."

One can adopt a conscious way of life by always living one's life mindfully, which entails taking charge of one's thoughts and emotions, followed by one's words and actions. This is one way to adopt a conscious way of life. The term for this way of living is "conscious lifestyle." As a consequence of this, one approach to living one's life is to alternately give themselves over to the flow of things while also actively residing in the present moment. It is up to us to train ourselves to live in the now every second of our lives, or at least as much as is physically possible for us to do so. This has the potential to bring about positive changes in our lives, which can have an effect on all aspects of our lives, including our relationships, careers, health, and overall levels of contentment. A conscious lifestyle involves being aware of one's routines, thoughts and the intents behind them, feelings, and patterns of conduct, as well as maintaining as much control over these aspects of oneself as is practically possible. The thoughts and feelings can be positive or negative, and the behavioural patterns can include levels of tolerance, impulsiveness, flexibility, etc. The habits can be healthy or unhealthy, and the thoughts and feelings can be either positive or negative. If someone adopts this way of life, they will find it much simpler to differentiate between desired and unwelcome routines, ideas, feelings, and patterns, which will ultimately result in a life that is both healthier and more fulfilling.

What Elements Make Up a Lifestyle That Is Conscious?

As was mentioned earlier, leading a conscious lifestyle entails having self-awareness as well as practising self-control in terms of our routines, thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behaviour. This enables us to eliminate the unwanted aspects of these aspects and place our attention on the more important aspects. The habitual activities can include things like eating habits which can be good or unhealthy, screen time on a smartphone, laptop, or television, levels of physical activity which can be less active or more active, and other activities. When we begin to pay attention to our patterns of behaviour, we are better able to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy patterns of behaviour and to gradually eliminate the unhealthy patterns from our routines. For instance, a person may become aware of their pattern of bingeing on pre-packaged snacks, and through the practise of mindfulness and consciousness, they may decide to replace this pattern by eating fruits rather than those unhealthy snacks.

The quality of our thoughts and the intentions that lie behind them directly influence the quality of our feelings. This is why our thoughts and feelings go hand in hand with one another. During the course of this procedure, you are required to monitor both the pattern and quality of your thinking, for example they might be repetitive and negative in quality. In everyday life, most of us have a propensity to think things that aren't good for us without even realising it. For instance, a person may have had a negative experience while performing on stage when they were younger, which caused the person to lose their confidence even in their adulthood. As a result, whenever the person goes on a platform, they still believe that they are not good enough, and they tremble in fear every time they do so. Because of this, leading a conscious lifestyle can assist us in observing and reflecting on our own thoughts, as well as the intentions that lie behind those ideas, and it can also inspire us to accept ourselves exactly as we are. Even if we only pay attention to our breathing for a minute or two at a time, we can bring about the needed changes in our thinking patterns and feelings by simultaneously pausing consciously between our thoughts and doing so.

Our responses to particular scenarios, our level of impulsiveness, the manner in which we converse with the various types of people we encounter in our lives professional, personal, and so on, our level of tolerance, our level of flexibility, our level of confidence, and so on are all examples of behavioural patterns. If we are more conscious about how we conduct ourselves, it will be much simpler for us to identify the aspects of our behaviour that are not virtuous or that do not serve our best interests. One might discover, for instance, that they have a reputation for being impolite to their subordinates and the ground employees at their place of employment. If they are conscious of that characteristic of themselves, it is possible that they will be able to be more mindful about it if they find themselves acting in that manner again, which will allow them to gradually rid themselves of that mannerism.

The first thing we need to do in order to pursue the conscious lifestyle in a meaningful way is to pause, take stock of our patterns of behaviour, thoughts and the goals that lie behind them, and actions, and only then go to the next stage. It is necessary for us to train ourselves to feel a certain way and to incorporate that way of being into who we are in order to bring about a change in those behaviours.
