Protective gear for Meghalaya police in view of COVID-19 outbreak

SHILLONG: Meghalaya police on Saturday said that all essential protective equipment have been distributed to their personnel across East Khasi Hills district.

This was informed by Superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills, Claudia Lyngwa while speaking to The Sentinel.

She said that all the personnel deployed on the ground and even those at various police stations in the district have been provided with face mask, hand sanitizer, gloves, beside others.

"We have also provided them Vitamin C across the district," Lyngwa said.

She also informed that time and again different offices of the Police department in the district have been thoroughly sprayed with disinfectant.
