Bengaluru: Karnataka police booked a 54-year-old man from Challakere in Chitradurga district of Karnataka for allegedly sending nude photos of himself to over 200 unknown numbers including 120 women.

The accused who is identified as O Ramakrishna was sending obscene photos to unknown numbers for over six months.

Karnataka police on Friday arrested him after receiving several complaints from Challakere residents that they had received explicit photos from an unknown phone number. He has been arrested and booked under the relevant sections of the IT Act.

According to a media report, during interrogation, Ramakrishna admitted to having sent the nude photos. He said, he would dial random phone numbers from his mobile phone and would send nude photos if the phone rang. He sent the photos to at least 50 women from Challakere, but they were hesitant to report it to the police.
