Birthday celebration of Sreekutty, a year old jumbo with a jumbo cake is heartwarming.

Kerala: Some wonderful photos of a one-year-old elephant, Sreekutty's birthday is celebrated in a special manner in Kappukadu elephant rescue centre in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.

Just two days after birth, this baby elephant was rescued from a forest in a serious condition. The chance of her survival was very low but Dr. E Eswaran of the rescue center took special care of the little one. She was feed with a healthy diet consisting of baby food, tender coconut water and peeled bananas for six months.

Sreekutty's birthday was celebrated along with 15 other elephants and a few people at the rescue center. The celebration was also attended by State forest secretary Rajesh Kumar Sinha. A video shared by ANI on her birthday celebration is winning hearts on social media.
