With Delhi emerging as one of the major hotspots for the coronavirus pandemic, Jamia Millia Islamia has decided restrict entry of outsiders including guests inside the campus, and the university administration has also asked all mosques in residential colonies near the campus to minimise presence only to Imams, Muezzins and caretakers. The directives came as university campus lies in close proximity with some areas which are under containment zones. “In order to further strengthen the safety of the campus only Gate no 4 and 13 will be operational as exit/entry points. Rest of the gates to be locked till further order,” the university administration said in a statement. (IANS)
