Virender Sehwag is known variedly as one of the most disastrous batsmen forever. Sehwag on Wednesday, 20 October becomes 43 years old. He is a former Indian cricketer who played as an opening batsman being violent with his right hand. In the year 1999 Virender Sehwag played for the first time in One Day International and then in 2011 finally came into the Indian Test side. Sehwag used to bowl sometimes off-spin with his right arm.

Virender Sehwag received wishes and greetings on his birthday from his loved ones including his family, friends, fans and relatives. Virender Sehwag throughout his career of cricket when he played for India made a total of 8,586 runs from 104 tests match that he played at an average of 49.34 apart from getting 8,273 runs from the 251 One Day Internationals. Sehwag also played for India in 19 T20 International matches. He was a member of the two squads that won the World Cup guided by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the skipper.

Sehwag played in 104 games in the Indian Premier League for the team of King XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils whereas an opener he secured the scoring of 2,728 runs. He is known to be the only cricketer from India who had scored more than 300 runs creating a triple century and in 2004 he was successful in achieving that feat twice 309 against Pakistan and in 2008, 319 against South Africa.
