Netflix's upcoming documentary to focus on India's 'conmen billionaires'

Guwahati: Netflix has been bringing true crime documentaries to millions of households across the world. Crime kingpins from El Chapo to Pablo Escobar have been covered with style and through extensive interviews with people who were in the know.

Now, Netflix India is bringing a new show called 'Bad Boy Billionaires: India' that delves into the storied lives of India's most notorious conmen, covering Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, Subrata Roy, and Byrraju Ramalinga Raju -- men who have been under the scanner for various high-level money laundering and corruption charges.

The official synopsis of the upcoming show reads, "What would you do to make it to the top? To build an empire? To maintain an image? Bad Boy Billionaires answers just that. Dive into the stories of India's most infamous billionaires- Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, Subrata Roy, and Byrraju Ramalinga Raju as they plan, plot and maneuver through their rises and falls. The trailer for upcoming show is out, and in the video, we see various clippings of infamous businessmen Vijay Mallya, Subrata Roy, Nirav Modi and Byrraju Ramalinga Raju interacting and posing with the rich and famous of the world.

Although these conmen have been in the news for years for their notoriety, few of us know how their massive scams came to be, or how they evaded justice. The new Netflix series features interviews with experts and insiders and haters as well as lovers of this conmen are waiting for the show with bated breath.
