Cyber crime

Internet is a helping tool in today’s world. It increases our knowledge and keeps us up-to-date with the occurrences of the world. At the same time, there are many negative aspects of this tool. People search the net for gaining knowledge. On the other hand, they also search websites like Facebook to make new friends as well as chat with old pals. It causes nuisance when girls and boys get friendly with strangers. There are many instances of girls getting entrapped. The strangers call them to unknown places and make dirty MMS and blackmail them. When girls come to know about it, it is too late. They are so afraid they don’t go to the police. Their dignity is at stake. The parents also remain quiet as they feel after knowing about the matter, no one would marry their daughter.

Cyber crime is growing day by day. Therefore, we should not try to increase our friendlist on social networking sites like Facebook by inviting or accepting friend requests from strangers. Social media is a reality which they must know how to handle properly and safely. I would like to urge parents to be friendly with their children so that they do not feel lonely and bare all their secrets to utter strangers.
