12 hurt in road mishap

SHILLONG, Oct 18: Twelve people, including two children, were injured in a road mishap in Mawiong on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday evening. The incident happened around 3.40 pm when one Tata Sumo skidded off the road. The vehicle was on its way to Umsning. All the injured passengers were shifted to a hospital in the State Capital. Six of the injured were identified as Balapynhun Kharthangmaw (25), Syntiewksiar Kharthangmaw (32), Marbida Kharthangmaw (34) and Balarisha Kharthangmaw (29).
