12,000 litres of stolen condensed oil seized, one bbed

Duliajan, April 18: Army of Tipling camp, Duliajan, OIL security and Duliajan Police launched  a joint operation on Saturday at 2 No.Khermia village under Duliajan police station and recovered 12,000 litres condensed oil stolen from OIL and seized five vehicles along with two motorcycles and one air gun. The joint operation team today raided the house of Amit Borsikia, resident of 2 No. Khermia village under Duliajan police station. The registeration of the vehicles are AS06-AC-8347 (Tata Xenon), AS06-B-0563 (Maruti Car), AS23-3647 (Maruti Van), two numberless Maruti vans, one Super Splendor motor cycle bearing registeration no.AS06-N-7836,one Yamaha bike bearing registration number AR-01-B-3833 and one air gun. They also recovered 12,000 litres condensed oil.

Police arrested one person allegedly involved in stealing condensed oil of OIL but Amit Borsaikia maged to flee. He had allegedly set up an illegal condensed oil depot in his house after stealing condensed oil from various OIL wells.
