New Delhi: The Delhi Patiala House Court on Tuesday articulated capital punishment for convict Yashpal Singh and reported life detainment for another convict Naresh Sherawat in the 1984 Sikh riots case. The two were indicted on November 15 for killing two youth Sikhs in Delhi's Mahipalpur region after the death of past Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. This is the main condemning for the situation after the Special Investigation Team (SIT) assumed control over the test in 2015.

The two convicts, Naresh Sherawat, and Yashpal Singh were held blameworthy of executing Hardev Singh and Avtar Singh. The grumbling against the two was recorded by Hardev Singh's sibling, Santokh Singh. Despite the fact that the Delhi Police had shut the case in 1994 for the absence of proof.
