1st Sports University in India

Imphal has reserved 325.90 acres of land for India’s first National Sports University, as approved by the President Kovind. It will promote sports education in the field of sports sciences- technology-management-coaching & also function as the national training centre. The National Sports University Bill (introduced in Lok Sabha- 2017) will influence National Sports University Ordinance.
