20 artists from Silchar to participate in Aizawl Art Festival

Silchar: A total of 20 talented artists from Silchar will take part at a prestigious 5 day art festival which will be organized in Aizawl, Mizoram. The festival, ‘Aizawl Art Festival, 2018’ will begin on December 27 and will continue till December 31.

The festival, organized by Art Novelty Gallery, will witness artists from the entire northeast region. The festival will be organized at Art Novelty Gallery, Chaltlang Venglai in Aizawl. It will be a festival of paintings, sculptures, photography, theatre, graphics, posters, poetry reading, ceramics and crafts. In short, the festival will showcase art and crafts exhibition cum workshop.

The chief guest of the inaugural programme will be Dr. C Vanlalramsanga IES, secretary, programme and planning implementation department, government of Mizoram. Laldawngliani Chawngthu director, SCERT, government of Mizoram will also be present as the guest of honour.
