205 kg canbis recovered, two apprehended

UDALGURI, Dec 24: The 61 battalion SSB has recovered 205 kg of canbis from the Dimachang forest area of Aruchal Pradesh. They launched a special operation in the jungle following information under the supervision of Bipin Katara, the assistant commandant of the troop. Later, they have apprehended Swmdwn Basumatary(21) of Dhekiajuli and Heman  Daimari of Gandaholi, Udalguri. The recovered amount of canbis is worth Rs 131,32,200  in the intertiol market, sources said. The persons apprehended and recovered canbis were handed over to the Balemu Police station in Aruchal Pradesh.
