25 passengers injured in road accident

Rangia, June 12: At least 25 passengers were injured, six of them critically, following an accident at NH-31 near Moranja Rangia on Sunday evening. A Barpeta-bound speeding bus (no AS 15 C 7498) collided with a truck (no NL 01 D 6318), injuring 25 passengers, including women and children. The injured passengers have been shifted to Rangia Civil Hospital while six were taken to GMCH in a critical condition. Police rushed to the spot and controlled the situation.
