279 meritorious students felicitated

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), June 17: The Golaghat district unit of All Assam Students’ Union felicitated 279 meritorious HSLC and HS students on Friday at Golaghat Amateur Theatre Hall here. Taking part in the felicitation programme, the general secretary of AASU Lurin Jyoti Gogoi urged the meritorious students to build themselves as human resource in this competitive world. The students, who secured 85 per cent marks or above were felicitated with citation and bundle of books in the programme. Professor of Assamese Department of Dibrugarh University Dr. Bhimkanta Baruah took part as chief guest in the programme.
