ITAGAR, Feb 4: Security forces bbed three NSCN (K) cadres from adjoining jungles of Laju and Noglo area of Tirap district in Aruchal Pradesh.
The troops of 1st Assam Rifles on Wednesday caught hold of the cadres along with several arms and ammunitions after 96 hours long search and battling inclement weather, official sources said here today.
Initially only one ultra was bbed in adjoining jungle area of Kollam and on his tipoff, the two accomplices were apprehended subsequently from Kollam and Noglo area. The apprehended cadres were identified as Alon Wangsa (28) a resident of Nginu, Major Kommen Kanglon (30) a resident of Tutnyu and pong Kangnong (19) who hails from Noglo village.
One AK 47 automatic assault rifle, one 9 mm carbine machine gun and one 7.65 mm revolver along with huge quantity of ammunitions, pouches and extortion note were recovered from their possession, the sources added.
