LAKHIMPUR: A total of 300 solar lamps were distributed on Monday to students of Matmora Higher Secondary School in Dhakuakhona subdivision of Lakhimpur district. The programme was organized under the aegis of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, and Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission (ASRLM) in collaboration with the Harhi Pragati Gramya Sangathan.
