324 cattle seized

DHUBRI, Sept 20: BSF troops seized  324 cattle heads in Dhubri district  while smugglers were trying to smuggle out the animals to Bangladesh on Sunday. BSF officials said a special operation team of 17 and 57 battalion of the force  seized the cattle worth Rs 30,00,000. The officials said BSF troops from the Assam and Meghalaya Frontier have intensified operations along the intertiol border to check illegal infiltration and other trans-border crime.
