36-year-old Afghan National Arrested for Drug-Peddling in New Delhi

New Delhi: A 36-year-old Afghan national has been arrested here for his involvement in drug-peddling in the city, police said on Friday. An international drug syndicate was busted with his arrest as he informed police about the man who got him involved in the illegal business of drugs. According to police, two more men have been identified and the operation to nab them is underway.

Mohammad Nadir Khadim (36), who is originally from Afghanistan (part of the drug syndicate), was arrested under the provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act on July 24 from Bhagat Singh Park, Malviya Nagar, Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime, Rajiv Ranjan said.
