38 sal logs recovered in Boko

Boko: Around 38 pieces of Sal tree logs laden in a Tata Di mini truck were recovered at Mauman village between Boko to Hahim road on Tuesday night by Singra Forest Range officials. According to the DFO of West Division, Ranjan Goswami, the truck was coming from Hahim to Boko.

When Singra Range officials came to know, they were waiting for the truck at Mauman village, some 5 km from the office. But somehow the smugglers got information and they escaped from there. The market value of the 38 Sal logs is about Rs 2 lakh.
