3rd elite Men’s National Boxing Championship: Nagaland wins Bronze

Kohima: Nagaland Men's Boxing Team brought laurels to the state by winning a bronze medal at the recently concluded 3rd Elite Men’s National Boxing Championship.

The championship was held at Army Sports Institute in Pune from October 27 to November 2 and was hosted by the services.

Nagaland participated in 10 categories in the championship, of which Govind Kumar bagged a bronze medal in the fight fly (49 kg) weight category. The team was led by Bendangmoa, Ralyaveio and Pradeep Sunar as coaches.
