4 GNLA members surrender

SHILLONG, Feb 24: In a major blow for the Garo tiol Liberation Army (GNLA) a militant group operating in Garo Hills as four of its senior cadres surrender before the police at Samplagre in East Garo Hills District on Friday. According to police, one of the senior most member of the GNLA militant was amongst the surrendered and has been identified as Gotjen. The police said Gotjen was involved in many crimils activities in the East Garo Hills region however today surrendered along his fellow cadres which includes Kamdak, Dakchak and Golgrik. The GNLA militants also surrendered along with arms and ammunition, which included two AK-47 rifles, SLA and others document related to the GNLA militant organization.
