40 tea garden workers admitted in hospital in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Sensation prevailed in Golaghat as at least 40 tea garden workers were admitted to Golaghat Swahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital on Sunday. According to report, family members of more than 40 tea garden workers of Wokha Tea Estate in Golaghat district were immediately admitted to Golaghat Swahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital on Sunday as they were complained of vomiting and diarrhoea like disease since the past two days. Most of the family members of Girja line of Wokha Tea Estate were admitted in the hospital. The patients alleged that they had to drink unsafe water and live in an unhygienic atmosphere in the garden quarters.
