45th Karbi Youth Festival Pulls Crowd in Diphu

Diphu: The five-day 45th Karbi Youth Festival at Karbi People’s Hall, Taralangso, Diphu, drew a huge crowd, including tourists from abroad like Germany, France, UK, Canada, Wales and various parts of the country, on Monday.

In the ethnic village, dozens of typical houses were constructed exhibiting the traditional houses of various tribal communities of Karbi Anglong and other parts of the State. Each house is ready to welcome visitors with traditional eateries like roasted craps, fish, pork and whole chicken roast.

Various competitions on modern and traditional songs and dances marked the 45th Karbi Youth Festival (KYF) organized by Karbi Cultural Society (KCS) at Taralangso.
