48th KVS tiol Sports meet begins

GUWAHATI, Nov 1: The opening ceremony of the 48th tiol Sports Meet (Boys) 2017 of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi held at the North East Frontier Railway Stadium, Maligaon today. Chahatey Ram, General Mager, North East Frontier Railway, was the Chief Guest.

In a brief speech Chahatey Ram said that all those who have come to this event will gather valuable experience which will help them to develop their skill in the future. The Chief Guest also declared the meet open.

Addressing the gathering  C Neelap, Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Guwahati Region said that more than 1700 participants along with their escort teachers have already arrived in Guwahati to take part in the meet. The mega event, which is being held from Nov 1-4 in the different Kendriya Vidyalayas of Guwahati, is a harbinger of cross-cultural understanding and tiol integration. The participants are also accompanied by the Contingent Leaders.
