5 Common Ways To Get Over With Binge

The practice of consuming large quantities of alcohol in a single session, usually bring risk to our health. Binge drinking has become a common practice in modern social lifestyle, mostly among youngsters. According to a latest report, almost 90% of youth are involved in binge drinking in the United States. After over-drinking, it generally may take up two or three days to make you feel fit, toned again. These techniques should not be habits, there are many better ways to bounce back from a binge.

1. Focus on yourself

The great power comes with great responsibility. Being a human, it is not a crime to indulge binge drinking, dwelling on binge will only make you more upset. The first step is to get back on track is to relax, but it might actually take two to three days to set you up back. You should focus more on yourself to maintain fitness. 2. Do not deprive yourself

Just because you ate  too much during the weekend, do not skip your meals on next day. Skipping meals usually brings the desire of over eating.  It may be tempting to go a day without eating because you feel like you compensated enough during the weekend. This is the worst thing that can harm your body. Skipping meals may slow down your metabolism and active stress hormone. It may also cause your body to store excess fat.

3. Food to avoid

No need to be extra picky about what you eat. Do not eat packaged food i.e. junk food, snack food, processed food, baked food and alcohol for the next day. Stick yourself with fresh fruits, vegetables, Isabgol, and complex carbs such as sweet potato, brown rice and quinoa that can help your digestion to get back on track.

4. Drink Water

Bad eating can take on many forms, in the end result is most often lead to dehydration and water retention. To keep your body hydrated, you need to drink 8 to 9 glasses of  water that can help you in digestion process and  fighting gastric and bloating.

5. Use Excess Energy to Boost Workouts

To recover your body from binge, it is essential to build and maintain a fit body. You can use the excess energy (carbs, mostly) to refill your glycogen stores and fuel some absolutely killer workouts. Working out can help in enhancing better metabolism rate.
