5 Dead and 3 Critically Injured in Sikkim Car Accident

In a sudden blow to Sikkim and its tourism industry, a road accident that took place Reshi Bazar in Sikkim is feared to hurt the tourism industry of the state deeply. The accident took place on Tuesday when a tourist car fell into a gorge in Reshi Bazar and this mishap killed five people from West Bengal. Apart from the deceased, three others were critically injured.

As stated by the police, the accident took place solely for the fault of the car driver who lost his control over the car while driving on the hilly roads of the state. The car, going off-road, fell into a gorge. The passengers in the car were travelling from Namchi to Kaluk.

Of the deceased people due to the accident, all five are West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district. Sadly, four of them were of the same family. Of the three injured, one is the driver and all three are immediately admitted into the hospital.
