95 packets of Marijuana weighing 590 kilos seized near Assam Bengal Border

Dhubri: Acting on a tip-off, Dhubri police recovered at least 95 packets of marijuana from a truck bearing registration number UP 65CT 6995 in Chagolia area near Assam-Bengal Border in Dhubri on Saturday afternoon.

Around 590 kilos of marijuana were seized today after carrying out a search operation inside the truck.

Police had apprehended the driver and the handyman from the spot and carrying out further interrogation.

The driver was identified as Sunil Yadav and handyman as Rudal Chauhan.
