A Wild Jumbo Tramples A Minor To Death In Udalguri

TANGLA: A minor was trampled to death by a loner wild jumbo at 2 No. Segunbari village under Paneri PS in Udalguri district on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Rahul Sonar (16). Reportedly, the victim and his friends were confronted by the pachyderm while they were walking back home after attending a cultural night programme. The victim was trampled to death but his friends managed to flee the scene. The incident has cast a pall of gloom in the area.
