AASAA condemns killing of tea workers

TANGLA, June 17: The Udalguri district committee of All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam (AASAA) has condemned the brutal killing of the two tea garden workers at Bhutiachang TE in Udalguri by miscreants on Wednesday night. “The killings two tea garden workers at Bhutiachang TE is a sheer act of disrupting peace in the region and anti-social elements are trying to gain mileage with the incident.  We strongly condemn the killings of the people,” said AASAA in a statement.  They claimed that none of the accused is active activists of AASAA.  “We demand proper investigation into the incident and justice to the bereaved family members of the victims,” said the organization.
