AASU stages protest

gaon, March 10: Activists of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), gaon district unit staged a demonstration in front of their district office on Tuesday. The activists demanded immediate implementation of the clauses of the Assam Accord. The organization also slammed both Central and State governments for not being able to provide safeguard to the indigenous people of Assam, which was one of the important clauses of the Accord. More than 100 activists of the gaon district unit of AASU took part in the protest
